Position Highlights: · The postdoctoral fellow/research scientist is a non-tenure track researcher who assumes the direct responsibility of conducting and performing experiments or directly overseeing experimentation as part of a research team under the general guidance of Dr. Markowitz. · Develop biomarkers for immune-based therapy · Study resistance mechanisms to immune checkpoint blockade The Ideal Candidate: ·The specific skill set required for this position are proficiency in technical writing of research papers, data analysis, general proficiency in computers, IHC, immunoblot, cell culture techniques, flow cytometry, and comfortable with murine experiments. · Candidates with informatics experience are also encouraged to apply even if they do not possess all of these skill sets. Responsibilities: · Manage projects under general supervision · General laboratory techniques such as immunohistochemistry,immunoblots, cell culture, ELISA, flow cytometry, murine experiments · Analyze high dimensional flow cytometry, mRNA, miRNA data sets in collaboration with bioinformatics and statistics · Technical writing of research papers and other documents Credentials and Qualifications: ·Ph.
