Job Description:
The successful candidate will serve as a biomarker liaison with clinical teams in Translational Clinical Oncology and Oncology Global Development, including the following responsibilities:

We are seeking a bioinformatics investigator to accelerate the development of immuno-oncology therapies.

  • Collaborate with Precision Medicine Directors on the design and execution of biomarker profiling studies in clinical trials
  • Manage the workflow of sample processing and data transfer, in collaboration with project managers and data engineers
  • Assess the utility of candidate biomarkers, such as tumor mutation burden, circulating tumor DNA, RNA signatures, TCR clonality, and cytokines
  • Develop analytical approaches for innovative technologies, such as single-cell RNA-seq
  • Influence departmental leaders on technology development and deployment
  • Mentor junior scientists on data analysis and scientific communication
Minimum Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in bioinformatics, immunology, molecular biology, computer science, statistics, or related field with 3+ years of experience analyzing next-generation sequencing data
  • Solid understanding of cancer genetics and immunology
  • Demonstrated experience with analytical methods for DNA-seq and RNA-seq data
  • Demonstrated statistical and analytical ability with programming expertise in R
  • Effective prioritization among multiple projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to work effectively within a team
  • The ideal candidate would also have experience with: Linux tools; Python programming; high-performance computing clusters; single-cell RNA-seq
