Major pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing organization seeks Pharmaceutical Bioinformatics Developer who will implement workflows to automatically upload sequencing outputs into our internal databases and develop methods to curate them with physicochemical attributes of relevance towards drug safety, pharmacology and manufacturability.
- Interface with CROs to coordinate classical as well as next generation sequencing (NGS) efforts to obtain Immunoglobulin sequences.
- Develop pipelines to analyze NGS outputs as per requirements
- Work with multi-disciplinary groups of experimentalists, including those involved in protein expression, purification, biophysical characterization and drug development.
- Proficiently execute assigned tasks in bioinformatics, curation and data analyses
- Comply all applicable regulations, performing all work in a safe manner; maintain proper records in accordance with SOP’s and policies.
- As assigned time to time by supervisor
- Experience in sequence bioinformatics and functional genomics
- Experience in computer programming (e.g Python, C, Perl)
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
- Ability to collaborate with experimentalists
- Good written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent thinking and high motivation level
- Computer Programming: 2 years
- sequence bioinformatics and functional genomics: 2 years
- Bioinformatics / computer Science: 2 years
