Job Description:
PhD scholarships are available in fields spanning the life sciences: biophysics; structural biology and biochemistry; bioinformatics and computational biology; molecular biology and cell biology; developmental biology and genetics; microbiome science, evolution and ecology. These scholarships are offered by the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) “From Molecules to Organisms”, based in Tuebingen, Germany. Our program provides an interdisciplinary environment for doctoral research in the life sciences. We want to endow the next generation of scientists with the skills and knowledge to study complex biological processes that cannot be adequately understood within the limits of a single discipline. The Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology runs the program in conjunction with the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory and the Eberhard Karls University Tuebingen.
