Job Description:
A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the Lab of Kenneth Chang at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
We are seeking highly motivated Ph.D. candidates in the area of cancer genomics, signal transduction, and tumor biology to study breast and lung cancer and drug resistance in these cancer types. The successful candidate will have access to the latest RNAi/ CRISPR technologies and other genomic tools (e.g. RNA -seq and proteomics), as well as mouse models to interrogate the biology (e.g. genetic dependencies and mechanisms of drug resistance) of these diseases.
Position Requirements
A doctoral degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or related field is required. A qualified candidate should hold or expected to hold (within ~ 6 months) a doctoral degree at the time of applying. Experience in mammalian cell culture, basic molecular cloning, basic biochemistry techniques is required. Experience in RNAi and/or CRISPR applications, cancer biology, using animal models, bioinformatics is highly desirable, but not required. Furthermore, a notable publication record, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are also required.
