Job Description:
We are looking for a translational computational biologist or a biomolecular informatician (bioinformatics), specializing in post-genome and post-ENCODE analyses. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and excellent written communication skills. The candidate should be able to demonstrate successful project implementation and execution. A strong candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who can work independently, at the same time be a team player capable of working with collaborators and scientific team members.
*Lead scientific projects where such analyses (post-genome and post-ENCODE) are required.
*Change healthcare diagnosis and treatments with imputations (e.g. drug repositioning)

Additional Minimum Qualifications *PhD or MD/PhD in computational biology, biomolecular informatics (bioinformatics), biostatistics, computer science, engineering, biomedical informatics, or related field.
*Highly proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, R).
