The Department of Soil Sciences invites applications for a Postdoctoral research position on a nitrogen budget project in Saskatchewan, Canada, funded through a provincial Agriculture Development (ADF) grant. This is a two-year appointment (November 2015 – December 2017). The project is aimed at using genomics and bioinformatics to identify the bacteria contributing to free-living nitrogen fixation, and stable isotopes to quantify nitrogen fixation, with the goal of developing a nitrogen budget for agricultural fields in Saskatchewan.The successful candidate will receive an annual stipend of C$50,000 including some benefits.
