Job Description:
Postdoctoral Associate position is available starting March 1st, 2018 in the laboratory of Dr. Rene Opavsky in the Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology and Health Cancer Center at the University of Florida, Gainesville. The Opavsky lab studies the roles of DNA methyltransferases in normal and malignant hematopoiesis utilizing mouse models and functional genomic approaches. We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong background in molecular, cellular and cancer biology. Advertised Salary: $47,476.00 to commensurate with education and experience Minimum Requirements: Successful candidate will have a PhD or MD degree, a strong publication record, and excellent writing and communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mouse models, high throughput genomics and bioinformatics (WGBS, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq) is strongly desired.
