Job Description:
Successful candidates will be recent PhD graduates with the ambition to tackle the complexity of tumor biology and evolution using computational analysis of data from cutting-edge experimental and sequencing efforts. The goal is to explore clinically relevant aspects of brain tumor biology using patient samples in a way that could lead to improvements in clinical outcomes, especially in the context of recurrent disease. Projects in the Morrissy lab are developed within a dynamic and collaborative environment with other researchers in the Charbonneau Cancer Institute, enabling access to state-of-the-art experimental approaches. - Perform integrative ‘omic’ data analyses (proteogenomics)
- Use and develop methods and strategies for quantifying and modeling tumour evolution in patient samples and pre-clinical models of disease
- Evaluate molecular features of treatment response and resistance in context with clinical data, matched pre-clinical models of disease, and therapeutic opportunities.
