Job Description:
Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral fellow for the lab of Dr. Bin Tian, Principal Investigator. Research activities include investigating evolution, mechanisms and consequences of alternative cleavage and polyadenylation (APA) in metazoans. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, carry out bioinformatics and computational biology analyses.

-Administration of computer servers and databases under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.

-Administers basic lab functions and organization of lab data.

-Keeps detailed records of data analysis.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics or a related field.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems administration, gene expression analysis using RNA-seq data, Perl/Python Programming, and R Programming required.
