Job Description:
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the area of computational genomics and bioinformatics. The research projects will be focused on constructing gene regulation networks from integrated analysis of functional genomic data (e.g, RNA-seq and ChIP-seq) and GWAS data that are related to embryonic heart development and birth defects.

Qualifications:

We seek a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in collaborative work and solid experience in bioinformatics and next-generation sequencing data analysis. A recent Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, or related areas is required. An ideal candidate would have demonstrated expertise and record in computational programming, statistical genetics, and bioinformatics of systems genomics. Knowledge of biological principles and organ developments will be a strong plus. Although interest in wet-lab experiments is not a must, the successful candidate is expected to work closely with biological experimentalists. Good communication skills in English is required to be able to work with our team.
