Job Description:
Employer: NIDDK/NIH
Location: Bethesda, MD 20892
The Genetics and Biochemistry Branch, NIDDK seeks postdoctoral candidates to develop novel algorithms and approaches for the analysis of large next-generation sequencing and other datasets to study the fundamental processes underlying chromosome dynamics during meiosis and other biological processes.
The successful candidate will be part of a computational biology team and in close collaboration with wet-lab experimentalists. The current focus of the laboratory is on the events governing the initiation of meiotic recombination and on the forces shaping the evolution of genomes in mammals (including man).
