Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time postdoctoral positions in the field of kidney cancer. The position will examine the role of metabolism in renal carcinogenesis. Our laboratory has an established track record in the field of kidney cancer and metabolism as demonstrated by our recent publications in well-respected journals. (Cancer Discov. 2014 Nov;4(11):1290-8; J Biol Chem. 2014 Aug 29;289(35):24691-9; Mol Cell. 2013 Jul 25;51(2):236-48.; Oncogene. 2013 Apr 18;32(16):2027-36; PLoS One. 2011;6(6):e21037; Mol Cell Biol. 2009 Aug;29(15):4080-90.) The candidate must be well-motivated with a strong background in cell/molecular biology and metabolism. Training in methodologies including chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and bioinformatics is preferred, but not required. Candidates need to demonstrate independence and the ability to communicate.
