The Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology (CLINTEC) operates mainly at The Flemingsberg Campus in connection to Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge. The Department also operates at Karolinska University Hospital in Solna and Solna Campus. There are 14 Divisions and 1 Section at CLINTEC. The activities include clinical research, education and development. We work in an international and multicultural environment with undergraduates, graduate students, exchange students in the ERASMUS program, postdoctoral researchers, educators and scientists at Karolinska Institutet and organizations with a common vision of excellence in research, education and development. CLINTEC has about 180 employees, about 200 graduate students and 400 affiliated scientists and educators. Division: The academic centre for Obstetrics and Gynecology is responsible for education and research within this field. The unit gives classes for medical students and it provides research opportunities and post graduate education for PhD students as well as for physicians and midwives. The unit has several experimental laboratories; IVF, stem cell biology and advanced ultrasound technique. Research and research education are focused on women´s health, pregnancy and pregnancy complications, fetal physiology, reproductive stem cell biology, infertility, fertility preservation, vascular physiology, fetal regenerative medicine, cervical cancer and several other topics Application process: An employment application must contain the following documents in English:

- Academic degree in bioinformatics or computational biology preferred or sufficient expertise with large-scale computing, high-throughput data handling, biological data analysis (RNA-seq and Methylation)
- Demonstrated experience with Unix/Linux environments and programming skills
- Good knowledge of biology and previous participation in research activities/projects/publications. Specific expertise in developmental biology is not required but is an asset.
- Impeccable organizational skills, drive and independence
- Excellent spoken and written English
