The USC Keck School of Medicine, Division of Hematology is seeking a full time Postdoc Research Associate to join its team. Under the direction of a supervising PI the Postdoc will Work to understand the mechanism of aging in hematopoiesis and how alterations in normal aging leads to various hematological disorders in the elderly including leukemia. Will Use molecular biology and next-generation sequencing approaches to answer fundamental questions about aging and senescence in hematopoiesis. The Postdoc Research Associate will serve as a research trainee for the purpose of enhancing and developing research competencies.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education
Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate within previous five years
Minimum Experience
0-1 year
Minimum Field of Expertise
Directly related education in research specialization with advanced knowledge of equipment, procedures and analysis methods.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education
Molecular Biology, Genomics, and Stem Cell biology.
Preferred Experience
Flow cytometry and flow sorting, and basic bioinformatics.
