Summary of Essential Job Duties:
- Working independently but in close cooperation and in consultation with the Principal Investigator and other Research Scientist, the Research Fellow will perform routine and complex statistical and computational analyses throughout training period. May develop, adapt, and implement new analysis algorithms and software. Analyzes and interprets data. May assist in preparation of grant proposals. Participates in publications and presentations as author or co-author. Not responsible for generating grant funds. This position will reside in the Department of Surgery and Biomedical Sciences. This position supports the Cancer Biology Program, with the expectation it will interface with multiple research teams with varied research interests, projects and priorities.
- Assist in preparation of grant proposals, but is not responsible for generating grant funds.
- Participate in publications and presentations as author or co-author.
- Designs and performs experiments. Will keep appropriate experimental records and documentation and analyze the results with the Principal Investigator.
- Develop, adapt, and implement new computational analysis algorithms and software.
- Analyzes, interprets, summarizes and compiles multi-omics data.
- Performs routine and complex statistical and computational analyses throughout training period.
