Salary £28,648 - £30,486 per annum
We are looking to appoint a postdoctoral scientist to join the scientific group led by Professor Gerry Melino working on cancer biology with a particular focus on the p53-family. The project will concentrate on high throughput genomics to identify the main alterations in the genomic networks associated to p53 family-dependent metastasis and chemo-resistance phenotypes. Desired skills and experience
The successful candidate will possess a PhD in a relevant discipline and have experience of working with protein and RNA analysis, mammalian cell culture, transient & stable transfections and immunofluorescence. Applicants must be committed to working at a highly competitive level, be able to communicate scientific ideas effectively and have a proven publication record.
