Job Description:
DNAnexus combines expertise in cloud computing and bioinformatics to create the global network for genomic medicine. DNAnexus provides security, scalability, and collaboration for organizations that are pursuing genomic-based approaches to health, in the clinic and in the research lab.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably computer science Experience in an agile software development environment (as a product manager, software engineer, or engineering manager) Deep understanding of large-scale web-based software systems, API-driven web services, cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) Familiarity with command-line interfaces (e.g., Unix shell) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl) Understanding of HCI and UX design principles and techniques Excellent written and verbal communication skills; in particular, you should be able to effortlessly communicate business requirements and user needs to engineering staff, and communicate technical issues and constraints to business stakeholders Positive attitude and ability to find creative, pragmatic solutions to underspecified problems under time pressure Familiarity with bioinformatics and genomics is a plus, but not required Responsibilities
Research and understand user needs and requirements; define product solutions to satisfy those needs; work with design and engineering to efficiently guide those solutions through implementation, testing, deployment, and customer validation Communicate product features, capabilities, and limitations to the science, sales, and marketing teams to guide customer communications Gather customer feedback and incorporate it into the product development cycle to rapidly and continuously improve the product Contribute to long-term product roadmap planning Interact with global strategic partners to define custom solutions and drive new product efforts Based in Mountain View, California, DNAnexus is experiencing rapid growth and is searching for the best talent to join our team.
