Job Description:
The Programmer Analyst II will provide application and database development for Research Information Technology Office, Vice Chancellor for Research University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). This position will have impact on reorganizing heterogeneous data registries on the UNMC campus. Job Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, bioinformatics/biomedical , informatics and/or clinical informatics. (Will consider additional post high school education in lieu of required experience of which a minimum of four years post high school is required.) Responsibility includes 2 years of programming experience which must include database design and development on various platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres and MySQL). Background in a JEE/J2EE Web Application Server environment.
