Role Summary: The Programmer Developer will be responsible for collaborating with our internal scientific teams to design and develop software solutions in order to support and solve challenges for our customers and the business. Many of these solutions will involve using modern machine learning techniques. Essential Responsibilities: The candidate will work on projects that will require independent planning and execution. The projects are normally scoped to last between 2 and 4 months in duration. The candidate will be asked to analyze large datasets to discover underlying scientific insights. They will present PowerPoint presentations and other graphic presentations to communicate progress, share best practices, or to provide updates. They may be asked to participate in events, seminars or trainings. The assignments will require the upmost trust and accuracy. Qualifications/Requirements:

- BS in computer science or informatics
- Programming experience using Python (NumPy, Pandas), Java, J2EE, JavaScript, C++
- Machine learning experience; including multiple technologies and techniques; TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, multilayer perceptron and convolutional neural networks.
- Relational database principals and design and implementation, including MySQL.
- Computational image analysis-OpenCV.
- Web technologies-HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap, JSP
- Experience developing graphical user interfaces, including PyQT4/5, TkInter.
- Successful record of writing scientific equipment-computer hardware interfaces.
- Experience interfacing with an advanced scientific workforce.
- Experience working with advanced scientific equipment
- Planning, running experiments and presentation of results
- Lab Testing protocol and procedures
- Tools – Tableau, Matlab, Microsoft Office (word, power point, excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and able to work both as a team and independently
- MS in computer science or informatics
- Excellent personal communication skills
- Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
- Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation
