The Research Associate assumes the responsibility of performing cancer proteomics research. We pursue an interdisciplinary approach spanning proteomics, chemical biology, translational medicine, molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics to characterize systems level views of cancer signaling networks. Particular emphasis is given to integrating functional proteomics technologies, e.g. chemical and phosphoproteomics, to dissect the underlying mechanism of drug action and cancer biology
Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Experience: cross-disciplinary skill set who is interested in working on projects related to (i) protein complex based biomarkers using proximity ligation assays and (ii) signaling studies and analysis of cancer. Successful candidates will have experience in mammalian cell culture, western blotting, RNA interference, DNA cloning, immunohistochemistry, and analytic microscopy.
