Job Description:
The Post-Doctoral Researcher will analyze multi-omics data from clinical samples and will combine the phenotypes to interpret the outcomes. The postdoc will focus primarily on developing computational biology tools to gather and analyze data in the field of microbiome, cancer and immune responses.

The long-term vision of the Centre is to further the understanding of human biology, to open novel avenues to address unmet clinical needs and capture worldwide leadership in an exciting new field. The initial focus of this research is to develop and refine computational tools and software to study human host and microbiome in health and disease.

In the next phase, the computational tools will be employed in order to understand the underlying molecular mechanisms of disease, identify drug targets and discover biomarker for the development of the efficient treatment strategies. Throughout the duration of the post, we therefore envisage a number of high impact publications on technique development and application in a range of projects.

The deadline for applications is midnight on 30 July 2017.

The selection process will include competency based questions, a presentation, an assessment and a panel interview. Interviews are scheduled to be held the week commencing: 7 August 2017.
