Job Description:
Roche Sequencing is seeking a Research Leader for computational cancer genomics who is enthusiastic at leading a team in developing algorithms for cancer genomics, analyzing challenging data in cancer research, researching on computational workflows for new cancer assays, and enhancing accuracy in somatic mutation detection. You will work with our highly professional teams in both science and engineering to deliver the best cancer genomic applications to the field.

Requirements:

-In-depth experience in oncology, particularly cancer genomics.

-Familiar with algorithms/tools in somatic mutation detection.

-Experience with computational cancer pipelines for NGS data.

-Good knowledge on NGS applications and assays for cancer, e.g. ctDNA assays.

-Knowledge on validating performance of bioinformatics solutions for cancer NGS data.

-Good communication skill and keen on collaboration.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player and leader.

-Fanatical attention to detail.

Qualification:

-PhD in Oncology, Bioinformatics or related field.

-At least 5 years of related work experience.
