Research Scientist – Bioinformatics & Comp Biology

Job Description:
Computational analysis of multi-omics data for drug target detection. Discovery of novel drug combinations. Preparation of original research manuscripts. Assisting other members of the laboratory in their scientific projects. Assisting the PI in preperation of grant applications and manuscripts.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

• Computational analysis The scientist will analyze multi-omics data sets to discover novel drug targets and deliver results rourinely to PI.
• Programming skills The candidate will prepare original scientific programs and deposit to private and public source code repositories with PI's supervision.
• Scientific manuscript writing The candidate will write and publish original scientific articles.
• Helping other members of the laboratory The candidate will assist the PI for training and research projects of other members of the laboratory.
• Design and execute of research projects in cancer biology With PI's supervision, the candidate will design, execute and finalize research projects in cancer biology.

Required: PhD in one of the natural sciences or related field or Medical degree

EXPERIENCE:

Required: With PhD, no experience required. With Medical degree, two years of experience in experimental or scientific work.
