Manchester Pharmacy School, one of the UK leading centres for pharmacy research, invites applications for a Research Technician in Pharmacokinetics (Drug Metabolism).
You will provide technical support to a research laboratory within the Centre for Applied Pharmacokinetics Research (CAPKR). You will contribute to the running of the laboratory including the maintenance of supplies and apparatus, producing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk assessments, and will provide advice and induction with regard to the procurement and use of equipment.
You should have previous experience of maintaining a biochemistry / cell biology or analytical laboratory, knowledge of the relevant legislation, and experience of preparing Standard Operating Procedures and risk assessments. Previous experience of biochemical assays or cell culture and a relevant higher education qualification would be advantageous.
