Job Description:
UConn Health seeks to fill a temporary Special Payroll Research position in the Center for Quantitative Medicine. This position will serve as a staff bioinformatician on a cancer-related research project. Special Requirements: -Master of Science degree in bioinformatics or related field. -Experience with the analysis of gene expressional data from cancer tumor samples. -Experience working collaboratively as part of a large team. -Experience giving scientific presentations to a diverse audience. Examples of Duties: -Collaborates with other researchers on the project, as needed. -Contributes to the writing of research articles and grant proposals.
