What you will do: Enable the success of our innovative TelemetryRx platform and Data Analytics team, which is crucially involved in improving the care model and expanding the scope of the company's activities. The candidate will work with fellow team members in Informatics, IT, and Data Analytics to help manage and execute various informatics projects to develop and integrate scientific data management systems and bioinformatics pipelines. Importantly, you will be a key member of the team that enables the expansion of and improves our care model to new patients by contributing information and detailed data analysis What you need: 3-5+ years of experience in pharma / biotech / pharmacy MS / MA in bioinformatics, pharmacy, or related field Experience working with EMRs (especially EPIC, Cerner, Allscripts, and athenahealth systems) PharmD or RPh is beneficial Solid understanding of specialty pharmaceuticals, pharmacist background a plus Proven track record to deliver value on bioinformatics projects Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects with a variety of roles Demonstrated statistical and analytical ability with programming expertise in R Energy and attention to detail; this is a fast-moving environment and getting the small things right is critical for success Going the extra mile; high-achievers who go beyond the minimum Details on the role: Improves our care model and expands to new patients by contributing crucial insights related to specialty pharmaceuticals Analyze hospital prescription / drug-related data for opportunity assessment / size quantification Collaborates with data analysts and software engineers to prepare EMR and pharmacy management system data for utilization across the organization Interprets and translates computational results into biologically relevant conclusions and hypotheses Clearly and succinctly communicates basic clinical / pharmaceutical concepts, patterns of outcomes, and ideas to data analytics and software engineering team Act as an expert consultant and scientific resource for others in the organization based on your extensive knowledge of bioinformatics
