Job Description:
A position is now open for a Bioinformatics Senior Research Assistant with a strong background in computational biology or bioinformatics. The successful applicant will be responsible for analyzing high-throughput molecular profiling data including sequencing and functional assays.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (eg, python, R or MATLAB)
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in biology, genetics, bioinformatics, computational biology or related field
  • Background in biology, genetics, bioinformatics, computational biology or related field
  • Experience analyzing data from genome-scale expression technologies (eg, gene-transcript and/or proteomic cellular analyses methods)
  • Experience analyzing RNAseq data
  • Knowledge of machine learning approaches
  • Knowledge of cancer biology
