Job Description:
Applications are sought for a Senior Research Assistant/Research Scientist who will undertake the bioinformatics analysis for ongoing research projects in the laboratory. You will expect to work on multiple projects, secure data management, server and laboratory website maintenance. You will be presenting laboratory work to internal colleagues and external collaborators. You should hold a PhD in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics and Bioinformatics with significant work experience in processing NGS data. You will be expected to have good programming skills and run regular pipelines for data analysis. You should be innovative, independent and able to work in a team and have good communication skills. This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
