Senior Software Engineer (AWS)

Job Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer (AWS) in the Bioinformatics Software Architecture and Engineering team, you will be using your talents to architect, build, deploy and maintain robust and complex scientific systems on AWS infrastructure thereby helping to analyze and manage genomics research data and expand the boundaries of agricultural knowledge.

Qualifications:

We want someone who:

• has created Lambda serverless solutionshas several years (3+) of building and deploying distributed AWS applications and at-least 10 years developing software
• deeply understands networking w/in AWS and has built custom MapReduce softwarewill participate in architecture and code reviews with the rest of a globally-distributed engineering team

You will look even better if you:

• are an AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Developer / DevOps Engineer
• have an advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Bioinformatics or a related field
• have experience with genetics and bioinformatics software
