PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Clinical Monitoring Research Program provides ground transportation services on the National Institutes of Health main campus, including the Naval Hospital located in Bethesda, Maryland.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Shuttle Bus Driver: (1) transports passengers to and from destinations on the NIH campus and provides assistance to passengers boarding and exiting the vehicle (2) provides critical mail delivery and patient/specimen transport from off campus buildings, such as the Navy Medical Research Center, to the NIH Clinical Center, and (3) transports medical staff and patient records/protocols/documents between various buildings

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of high school diploma or equivalent In addition to educational requirements, a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience Must have and maintain a valid State Driver's License issued by the state in which the incumbent/candidate resides for each class of vehicle to be operated on company business with a clean driving record Incumbents in this position are subject to a background check and must be able to obtain the appropriate clearance levels determined by the job requirements Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 40-50 lbs., sit for long periods of time, and bend and stoop
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Emergency first aid, and CPR and related emergency procedures
