Job Description:
As a software engineer in DTS, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create software that meet Intel's specific, rapidly evolving requirements for designing, manufacturing, testing, and packaging semiconductor products. We work very closely with Intel engineers around the world, to understand their technical challenges, and to create proprietary CAD solutions. The daily work in DTS spans the complete software life cycle, from early research to mature production code with industrial robustness and quality.

In this particular job opening, you will join an existing, small team of software engineers, to work on developing new CAD algorithms to help with the automatic creation and manipulation of microprocessor layouts.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a MS or PhD. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Candidate must have 6 + months of work or educational experience in the following:
algorithms and data structures
at-least two of the following topics - Computational geometry, pattern recognition, VLSI physical design algorithms, computer graphics, randomized algorithms, combinatorics, graph theory, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics algorithms, high performance computing
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of developing software in an UNIX/Linux environment
Familiarity with standard software engineering practices for version control, configuration
