Staff Biostatistician-3404140827 Description Janssen Diagnostics, LLC, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Staff Biostatistician to be located in Raritan, NJ. Janssen Diagnostics seeks a Staff Biostatistician with expertise in applying quantitative analysis to diagnostic, pharmaceutical and/or biomedical research. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams in developing quantitative solutions to predict effectiveness of treatments in areas such as Infectious Diseases, Neuroscience, Immunology, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases. She/he will lead diagnostic biostatistics and bioinformatics efforts in translating early discovery results to clinical development and in supporting post-market research. This individual will effectively communicate data and results to stakeholders on project teams and work effectively with Biostatistics, Informatics, Epidemiology, IT and HECOR colleagues in across sectors within J&J. Qualifications A Ph.D. in statistics, computational sciences, natural sciences, physical sciences, medicine or engineering is required. A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in the field of bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer sciences, biomarker discovery and development or database programming is required. Industry experience is preferred. Independent, self-motivated and innovative and the ability to excel in a goal-oriented, multifaceted and fast-moving team environment is required. Outstanding communication, organizational and leadership skills is required. Hands-on skills in using various software packages ( e.g. Spotfire, SAS, R, Java), Oracle Databases (SQL) are required.
