Purpose of Job
Human Longevity, Inc. is looking for a Health IT Operations Support Analyst to support day-to-day IT operations for its on-site ambulatory clinic in San Diego, CA. In this role, the Health IT Operations support Analyst will support startup implementation and operations of all health IT solutions related to the Health Nucleus including an Electronic Health Record (EHR), Picture Archiving (PACS), Data integration layer and Clinical Data Repository (CDR). On an on-going basis the position will work with a team to provide technical support to Health Nucleus physician leadership and staff to ensure the highest support levels and continuity of operations. The optimal candidate must have not only a strong health and technology background, but also a communications and discretion core competency given the high profile clients expected at the facility.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional teams in the implementation of new infrastructure and software systems within the HLI Health Nucleus organization
- Support HLI leadership to design, document, implement and optimize technical processes and workflows
- Provide training of internal and external users of Health Nucleus systems
- Support day-to-day communications and coordination with Health IT vendor/partners
- Interact directly with HLI Health Nucleus physicians, administrative staff and partners to provide support on an ongoing basis
- Meet efficiency targets for new and ongoing activities related to Health Nucleus operations
- Follow all documentation processes and procedures
- Monitor all key infrastructure and application services with in place tools related to Health Nucleus operations
- Provide training to all personnel around Health IT systems as required
- Comply with all HIPAA and HITECH compliance regulations
- Expected to closely collaborate and align with HLI corporate IT and Information Security functions
- All other duties as assigned
- Education – BS in Health IT, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Life Science required
- Experience administering and/or managing Cisco enterprise network and IP telephony systems
- Direct experience supporting operations of EHR, PACS and related Health IT systems including data integration in a clinical environment
- Strong customer service experience and acumen
- Soft skills – organization, excellent communication and written skills, ability to work well with teams in an open environment, demonstration of sound judgment to effectively solve problems
- Experience in a start-up environment

- Experience working in a medical clinic serving physicians and staff is a plus
- Self-Starter who deals well with ambiguity and can move forward with little direction
- Open office environment
- Global environment with multiple sites, which may require work beyond standard business hours including weekends when Health Nucleus will be seeing clients
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending and kneeling
- Must be able to lift and transport at least 25 pounds
- Work in a HIPAA compliant medical office
- Occasional travel may be required
