Job Description:
The Systems Biology Scientist will join a team of scientists investigating the dynamics of the microbiome and virome in normal and immunocompromised hosts. In this position, you will develop new (and validate existing) computational methods to examine microbiome datasets. Additional project areas could include mathematical epidemiology models and/or dynamical inference testing. You will utilize your experience with analytical methods to develop approaches to big data analysis and publish your research results. As part of your responsibilities, you will initiate independent research and provide project oversight without direct supervision. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or higher required. PhD or Masters in biological, computer science, engineering, ecology or related fields preferred Minimum Experience:

- 7 years of experience required with a Bachelor's Degree. 4 years of experience required with a Master's Degree
- Relevant and productive research experience includes Systems Biology, Computer Science, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Applied Mathematics, Ecology, Physics or a related field
- Experience with programming languages such as Perl, C, C++, Java or Python required.
