Job Description:
The University of Chicago invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Ben May Department for Cancer Research (http://benmay.uchicago.edu) with the possibility of an appointment in the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center (http://cancer.uchicago.edu). The department has broad research interests and strengths in signaling and cancer biology. We seek investigators who will establish a strong research program that complements existing departmental research interests and who will engage actively in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level. Applicants must have sufficient research experience to demonstrate significant accomplishments and outstanding potential. Departmental faculty have access to outstanding graduate students affiliated with degree-granting programs in the biological and physical sciences.
Successful candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) and will be expected to establish and maintain an extramurally-funded research program.
