-Proven skills and experience in definition and implementation of computational solutions, including facility with a programming language suitable for scientific work or data science, such as R or Python.

-Successful leadership of projects that span multiple disciplines, either directly or in a matrix/collaborative environment.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in communicating computational solutions to scientific problems and conclusions from analysis of complex data.

-A highly collaborative approach, with the drive and ability to actively create new connections across the Monsanto Technology organization and outside the company.

Desired Skills/Experience:

-Experience with scientific data visualization.

-Scientific programming skills in a high performance language (e.g. C, C++, Java, Scala, Julia, Go).

-Experience using high performance computing environments (clusters).

-Experience working with Amazon Web Services or other cloud stacks.

Ability to rapidly evaluate the utility of new computational technologies.

Experience teaching R or Python.
