Job Description:
Research areas represented by our faculty include:
• Bioinformatics
• Intelligent medical training systems and user modeling
• Knowledge representation and interoperability
• Machine learning and data mining
• Clinical translational bioinformatics and biostatistics
• Natural language processing
• Medical imaging development and evaluation
• Outbreak and disease surveillance
• Human-computer interaction/User-centered design Post-graduate degree (MD or PhD) and training in Biomedical Informatics, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or a related discipline.
NLM fellowship eligibility (US citizen or permanent resident only).
Ability to independently perform research in one of the above areas of biomedical informatics with mentoring from a faculty member.
Ability to write and publish journal articles.
