Our lab utilizes the high-throughput technologies to dissect the molecular mechanism in complex diseases. Located in the world’s largest medical center, our lab also works closely with the world leading groups, such as labs at MD Anderson Cancer Center. The positions will offer opportunities to work on exciting topics not limited to Integrative Analysis of Complex Diseases and High-throughput Data Mining.

We are recruiting:



1 - Computer Science, Genetics, or related field, and have strong experience in analyzing high-throughput genomic data, especially next generation sequencing data, with strong skills in at least one programming language (Perl, Python, Java, C/C++, or R). Outstanding applicants may be appointed/promoted as research-track faculty.
2 - Experimental postdocs: Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, RNA Biology, or related field, and have strong experience in cell culture, stem cells, cell proliferation, etc. Outstanding applicants may be appointed/promoted as research-track faculty.
3 - Bioinformatics Programmer: Qualified candidates should be highly motivated in research, have strong experience in analyzing high-throughput genomic data, especially next generation sequencing data, with strong skills in at least one programming language (Perl, Python, Java, C/C++, or R).
4 - Students: Students from Texas Medical Center (TMC), including University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) at Houston, MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC), Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) are encouraged to send me their email to discuss the potential opportunities in our lab.
