We have an exciting opportunity to join our highly visible Watson Genomic Analytics team, responsible for building genomic solutions using the Watson technology.
As a Cognitive Software Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to extract information from unstructured medical data and create structured data sets that integrate into cognitive systems. The candidate will also design, develop and maintain machine learning models that focus on big data in the healthcare industry. Working knowledge and familiarity of various statistical machine learning models are essential. At the same time, the candidate should be an open minded and innovative hacker who uses basic mathematical and statistical thinking to solve complex problems. The candidate will be exposed to some of the latest tools and technologies and leading edge experts within the field of cognitive computing.
