Bioinformatics, biostatistics and integrative biology have emerged as strategic priorities for the Institut Pasteur. A new “Center for Bioinformatics, Biostatistics and Integrative Biology” has been created in 2015 on the Parisian campus. A post-doctoral position (two years potentially renewable one year) is immediately available at UMR1167, Institut Pasteur de Lille, France. We recently characterized BIN1 as the second genetic risk factor of Alzheimer’s disease after APOE (Lambert et al., Nat genet, 2013). We reported that BIN1 could be the first genetic determinant interacting with Tau pathology (Chapuis et al., Mol Psychiatry, 2013). The project will consist to determine what are the function and consequences of the BIN1-Tau interaction we recently fully described (Sottejeau et al., Act Neuropathol comm., 2015) at both physiological and pathophysiological levels.  [More]
