Research Specialist performs bioinformatic data analyses on multiple genomics data including next-gen sequencing (NGS), RNA-seq, DNA-seq, genome-seq, ChIP-seq, DNA methylation or bisulfite sequencing and microarray data; applies various genomics and NGS pipelines algorithms involving R package/language, Bioconductor, Python, and others to various genomics projects supported by the Center of Genomics; helps set up bioinformatics infrastructure and pipeline for the Center and be responsible for genomics data storage and backup; participates in writing manuscripts and helping prepare figures for grant applications; perform other duties as needed.  [More]
