We are pleased to announce a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in metagenomics/bioinformatics in the laboratory of Dr. A.M.V. Brown in the Department of Biological Sciences at Texas Tech University, to begin in Fall 2017. Dr. Brown's lab investigates how host-associated bacteria and other microbes interact to limit or facilitate species invasions, disease outbreaks, or biomass production. We use a wide range of approaches including shotgun metagenomics and metatransciptomics, functional comparative genomics, and advanced bioinformatics. Systems include agricultural and medically related microbial communities.  [More]
