We are seeking an enthusiastic Bioinformatician to join the PRIDE database project, part of the Proteomics Service Team at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI). The databases is a world-leading international proteomics database, and founding member of ProteomeXchange (PX) Consortium, capturing large-scale mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomics data from the scientific community, and currently managing more than 160 TB of data. The team is also responsible of the development and maintenance of popular tools such as PRIDE Inspector, the PX submission tool as well as several other open source MS software libraries. We are a major contributor to international standardisation efforts under the umbrella of the Proteomics Standards Initiative.
