How the lab spent their summer- The pile is an entire pickup load of empty pipette boxes gone to recycling. These boxes represent 1000s of samples processed and sequenced- simply an amazing amount of effort, leading to a large number of fantastic research discoveries this summer. Over the last several months we have seen an explosive growth in sequencing at Texas A&M. In the first 8 months of this year we have completed more projects then all of 2013. That year was an almost 100% increase over 2012.
