Ability to combine data from different platforms run on the same tumor sample to generate in depth biological understanding of the tumor samples.
  • In-depth knowledge of oncology-specific public consortium databases, their standards, how these databases relate to the above described molecular assays, and how they can be leveraged for target discovery and validation. Ability to compare external and internal datasets across different platforms
  • A working understanding of the statistical principles behind current best practices and quality control in high-throughput molecular data analysis.
  • Clear understanding of the translational medicine / biomarker discovery space and ability to build bioinformatics capability to match scientific team build out for this functional area.
