Job Description:
A postdoctoral research fellow position is available for highly motivated, self-directed researchers to join a new, well-funded research laboratory focused on RNA epigenetics research in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at University of Pennsylvania (Penn).

The ideal candidates with strong background in Bioinformatics, biochemistry, and cell biology are encouraged to apply. Experience with data analysis on high-throughput sequencing data of RNA-seq, CLIP-seq, ChIP-seq, MeRIP, ribosome profiling is highly desirable. Experience with obesity research, and animal models of energy metabolism is an additional plus.

As a private Ivy League research university, Penn offers a world-class environment for research in RNA biology and gene transcription regulation. The successful candidate will have access to the state-of-the-art equipment and study the regulation of energy homeostasis in mammals and RNA signaling in an interdisciplinary collaborative research group. Philadelphia is the sixth-most populous city in the United States, notable for its rich history and fun to live.
