We seek a Data Scientist with deep expertise working with large datasets to join our growing scientific team. Reporting to the Data Science Lead, you will work with a large, interdisciplinary team and leverage your experience in data analytics to make a meaningful impact on women’s health. Responsibilities:
- Work with large scale structured and unstructured clinical data.
- Develop standardized and automated processing pipelines to prepare data and generate content for analytic activities.
- Perform statistical analyses and generate reports summarizing data structure, content and trends.
- Design, develop, and maintain predictive models in production environments.
- Work cross-functionally with team members from Bioinformatics, Biointerpretation, and Product.
- Plan and execute analytic solutions for scientific audits, reviews, and reports with minimal supervision.
- PhD in Statistics.
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
- An understanding of Bayesian decision theory, clustering, survival analysis, ANOVA and other standard analytical methods used for regression and classification problems.
- Proficiency in programming on a Unix/Linux platform.
- Proficiency in programming with R, Matlab, Python or similar.
- A proven publication record.
