POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Analytical Biologist with extensive biological experience to support ongoing clinical research and assay development projects in Adaptive R&D. Working both in the wet lab and with computational biology; duties will include data analysis, algorithms development and preparation of results but will not include lab work.

Representative projects in the scope of this role include:
Analyze raw data and prepare results as part of ongoing clinical research into MRD monitoring in hematologic malignancies. Contribute analyses to publications, grant proposals and conference abstracts
Develop and implement QC algorithms/procedures for clinical research data generated in a highly-automated laboratory environment

Required Experience:
Must have completed a Ph.D. in genetics, bioinformatics, immunology or a similar discipline
2+ years laboratory experience in immunology, molecular biology, or genetics
2+ years experience in scientific programming
Working knowledge of current statistical techniques in data analysis and clinical research
Expertise in scripting (e.g. Python or similar) for analysis of high-volume DNA sequencing datasets
Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and visualization
A passion for turning high-volume datasets into biologically-relevant results

Prefer candidates with:
2+ years of biotech or postdoctoral research experience
A strong record of first author publications in top-tier journals and/or extramural funding
Experience with translational research in oncology and hematologic malignancies
Demonstrated expertise in theoretical and applied biostatistics
Demonstrated ability to manage large projects with a diverse group of collaborators
