Computational Biologist, Entry-Level, Cardiovascular/MetabolicPfizer R&DComputational SciencesUSA-MA-Cambridge As part of Pfizer's Computational Sciences group, the colleague in this role will work with disease area biologists to address key biological questions by applying computational and statistical techniques to mine large-scale genetics, omics, and human biology data. The successful candidate will contribute integrative bioinformatics analysis of genetics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, and proteomics data for target identification and validation and will perform statistical and machine learning analyses to model disease onset and progression with molecular biomarker and clinical measurements. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise with data mining and statistical methods to analyze large-scale, multidimensional, and complex biological datasets, and the ability to work closely with biologists and clinicians to drive the experimental design and data interpretation.
